A lovely peach sapphire from Barrington Tops in New South Wales. This stone shifts from a burnt peach to a more open pinky peach depending on the light.
The deposit where they are found is very small, and the sapphires are apparently few and far between, making them a rarity. If only there were more of these phenomenal stones out there!
