A super bright parti sapphire from Queensland. Primarily an orangey yellow with some green undertones. Its colour shifts a bit depending on the light level. Cut into a freeform I designed to suit the rough.
This stone has a small patch of blue in the crown; while cutting, I thought it would stay more separated than it ended up being. I can still see some blue showing up in dim light, though this might be subconscious.
