An extraordinarily rare colour combination for an Australian sapphire, displaying both orange and teal in a split. This was a tricky stone to cut, with the orange just painted onto one of the rough’s sides, which I chased in the pavilion and designed the rest of the stone around that initial facet. Thankfully, I was able to keep the orange zone and not blend it with the teal so much that it lost its vibrancy.
